Why did the class of 1979 not have a 30 year reunion?

I have a 1978 class ring from Emma Sansom with the initials LMH engraved. The ring was found close to Camp Comer at Mentone. I understand that band camp was held there during this year. Can you help me find the owner?

The three former high schools, Emma Sansom, Gadsden High, Litchfield, and Etowah High School particiated in a "Flashback" Basketball Tournament on April 24 & 25th, sponsored by Bubba Treadwell and the "Team Leaders".
